Hello all ! MICS connected with the patient and her daughter yesterday. Patient actually has advanced Esophageal ca with recent metastasis to lungs and liver. She wishes to return back to India to where she had completed successful chemo treatment 3 years ago. Patients pain is well controlled and appeared to be stable after a recent visit to a local clinic. She is already gathering all necessary medical paperwork which will be needed for travel. Patient’s daughter was also informed of local help available through MICS and medical hotline. We will continue to direct her towards proper channels re: travel restrictions/guidelines. She was extremely appreciative of everyones prompt response and collaborative effort. 🙏 THANKS team !!
