On June 1, 2025, a significant milestone was reached. MICS had the honor of hosting an exclusive gathering of over 65 respected leaders from approximately 40 Indian-American community organizations. This 'invitation-only' event served as the official announcement of progress and future plans for the Indian-American Community Services Center (IACSC) initiative.The energy in the room was inspiring. Attendees voiced enthusiastic support and a strong desire to be involved—many stepping forward to volunteer and champion this visionary endeavor. IACSC is not just about creating a community center; it's about building a shared future. It stands as a symbol of unity, a hub for cultural preservation, social support, and collaboration for Michigan’s Indian-American community—designed to serve generations to come.
