HR Manager

Function: HR Org-Leader

​

Position duration: 1 year, can be extended yearly by consensus by leadership up to 3x

  • Experience in HR preferred

  • Skills and motivation to advance MICS mission

  • MS Office & Database skills

 

 Authority:

  • Recruit HR-team volunteers

  • Nominate Co-leaders

 

Responsibility:

  •  Create and maintain an existing org chart

  • Create roles description

  • Create a database of volunteers interested in officer & leadership position

  • Review and shortlist candidates based on expressed interests

  • Explore new areas of interest that will benefit the Indian-American community mission

  • Coach and assist volunteer manager

  • Keep track of volunteer hours and report out in a database

Volunteer Manager


Function: HR

Responsibility:

  • Download volunteer database from the website

  • Update existing volunteer list

  • Evaluate and categorize by interests

  • Explore new areas of interest that will benefit the Indian-American community mission

  • Assist HR Manager

  • Create monthly reports for EC and website

  • Create processes

  • Keep track of volunteer hours and report out in a database

SR MANAGER

Function: Shared Resources (SR)

SR – Groups:

  • SR –Flyers

  • SR – website

  • SR – PR-Stories

  • SR – Zoom / FB

  • SR – Video

  • SR - database

SR LEADS

Function: SR

Responsibility:

  • Create and maintain volunteer list

  • Create a profile based on skills and interests

  • Assist and provide volunteers to project leaders

  • Keep track of requested tasks and closure

  • Keep track of volunteer hours and report out in a database or approve volunteer hour recorded in the database

  • Create monthly report

  • Create processes

EVENT MANAGER

Function: Project Leaders

Position duration: 1 year, can be extended yearly by consensus by leadership up to 3x

The position will be occupied by 2-3 potential leaders

  • Leadership skills and people skill

  • Skills and motivation to advance MICS mission

  • MS-office and database

 

Authority:

  • Recruit team volunteers

Responsibility:

  • Key contact person for project leaders

  • Support project leaders with meeting their needs in coordination with SR manager like flyer, website, zoom, etc

  • Keep event calendar on the website and publish on a weekly basis

  • Create monthly reports for EC and website

  • Create processes

  • Keep track of volunteer hours and report out in a database
