A young female student and domestic violence survivor, previously staying at a local university in Michigan, faced financial distress and needed to relocate to Troy. She is actively searching for a job and requires financial support for moving expenses and essential needs.


2. Help Requested from MICS

• Transport assistance to move belongings from Detroit to Troy

• Financial assistance for moving expenses and immediate essentials

• Job placement support, preferably in Data Science/Analytics, but open to part-time roles


3. Support Provided by MICS

• Relocation Assistance: Volunteers helped transport her belongings and set up her new living space

• Financial Support: A financial donation and Uber fare reimbursement were provided for urgent needs

• Essential Needs: Mattress and furniture donations


4. Support Still Needed / How you can help:

• Employment: Urgent job placement and referrals, preferably full-time job in Data Science/Analytics/Coding/Code Testing/IT field, but open to part-time work for immediate financial relief.
